Well, at least you have the full game... what happens to 2nd discs that most of them are scratched?

Well, once, when I was playing Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for 2 hours, my PC decided to crash, and drop me to desktop. And,, because I was playing in Hard mode, trying to get an A rank, I haven't saved my progress AT ALL... and I don't have to tell how hard actually hard mode is.

ughhhh, we've all had these horrible moments. I can recall a couple of occasions when I was incredibly lucky!
I was basically playing either an RPG, or a racing game, trying to achieve substantial scores or ascending several levels. I persevered with this for about 3 hours without saving (foolish, yes), but then just as I finish saving, power cut!
This has indeed happened twice, each time me being scared that I would have wasted loads of time. I ensure the I save regularly when playing games now. Prudence be gooood.

Do you mean a literal power cut to the whole house, or were you playing the Dreamcast?
As for me, im sure ive had one of those nasty gaming moments with FFVIII and that whole Bahamut subquest (in order to draw the summon, Eden). I remember wasting 3 or so hours on that tedious dungeon, and since theres no save point until the end (and more importantly, no place to heal), your time is very much at stake.
I also remember getting frustrated by Guilty Gear X2's Mission mode a lot. Im stuck on 13, last time i checked, and i dont feel like going back since ive unlocked everything via story mode. That mode is more a test of patience and luck than a true challenge.

This happened to me while playing Resident Evil Outbreak File 2.
Spoilers
I was playing the final scenario, End of The Road, on Very Hard mode. Anyhow, I was supposed to make my way inside a helicopter to end the scenario, when Tyrant (yep, he's back again here ) showed up and trapped me in a corner. I somehow managed to get away and was ALMOST near the chopper when Tyrant showed up again, ran to me and tackled me down. I was still alive, but crawling and because of that my virus infection rate skyrocketed and I died.
End Spoilers
Needless to say, I was so angry that I threw my controller down and swore like mad. XD
